MESA focuses on engaging students in hands-‐on applications of math, engineering, science, and technology concepts through project and competition based activities. MESA provides a variety of opportunities for students to explore the STEM fields through field trips. We even travel to Catalina Island to study ecology, marine biology and conservation. Students come together at CSU Fresno campus to interact with faculty, staff, and college mentors.
Science Olympiad is an event where students use teamwork to build and engineer different projects that incorporate different science principles. They also use their teamwork skills to participate in different science related competitions.
